Strange one but the goal machine that is Kris Boyd has been loaned to Notts Forest for the rest of the season

No surprise Mogga doesn't like him - he's hardly a complete footballer. If he finds a team that plays the right way for him, I still think he'll score plenty of goals in the England Tier 2, but no way is he good enough for the EPL.

Was having a conversation about him with a hun colleague earlier. It seems that just being a decent finisher isn't enough in modern football, who knew? :hit:

What annoys me (although maybe it shouldn't) is that the likes of Boyd contribute to the unshakeable belief of English football fans that the game up here is shit. We all know that with a full squad in good form United could beat just about any CCC team and a large proportion of PL teams, as we have done in friendlies recently. Same goes for Celtic, Rangers and Hearts. I don't think the quality of individual footballer is miles different between the upper reaches of Scottish Football and the Championship and lower Prem.

Watched the football league show at the weekend and found myself seething as I watched (a non-injured) Sandaza wheel away in celebration after his side's winning goal in the 4-3 game. :smack:
