http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/d/dundee_utd/9400118.stm Keep the games comin thick and fast, I think thats when Utd get into their stride. Bit out of synch on sunday but some of the stuff they were playin in the second half was silky, tryin to get back in the game. They have spells of playing some spells of quality stuff, just wee bits and pieces usually but still a match for any team. Just a pity they play awful in the first half of every game (its been like that for years), it usually takes a goal against them for them to turn on the style - hence the great number of late equalizers this season Anyway, once we play all these games you will find the terrors will stroll into 4th place. And you can quote me on that

I've no idea how it's all going to fit in, I'll likely miss a few of the games, which isn't good. Maybe we could offer to split the points, take 1 1/2 points each for a few games? Save the hassle of playing them. |

When our Sunday League used to run out days to play rearranged matches we would play double-headers. I remember we won 2-1 against Patchway Sports (or somebody like that), then turned right around and lost 4-0 to them. Just a suggestion. |

Um...can anyone explain why we are, over the next couple of weeks, playing Saturday - Tuesday - Thursday - Monday - Thursday - Sunday, when we have no games between the 19th March and the 2nd April? Fair enough, there's the whipping from Brasil on the 27th but why not play one of our postponed games on the 31st? And why on earth do we play our final pre-split fixture on the 9th April, leaving the weekend of the 16th/17th, when everyone else is playing, free? Are there other internationals I'm unaware of? Are they keeping dates free for replays? Might it be stupidity? Edited by reekie, Feb 21 2011, 10:37 PM.

We were due to play at Motherwell that day, and fairly obviously either us or them will be in the cup semi-finals. |

So, stupidity it is then. Partly mine. Still, the 31st March and the 13th April are both free midweeks that aren't being used. Harrumph! |

Okay, updated grumble. We're playing our next three on Monday, Thursday, Sunday, leaving two days recovery between each. Why weren't we playing yesterday (Saturday), Wednesday, Sunday, leaving three days between each? What's going on?! |

You've more or less answered your own question there. All clubs basically have to do what TV tells them to. Although, in mitigation, the Aberdeen game was moved to a Monday before all of the rearranged matches had to be squeezed in somewhere. Also, isn't there still a home game against Rangers to be fitted in? |

Yeah, as soon as I saw the ESPN schedule I instantly knew. I just couldn't be bothered typing it out. Or the accompanying frustrated diatribe. I'll distill it into... Booooooooo! edit - I think the SPL are hoping that we'll secure top-six before the split, allowing us to play the extra 'gers match after it. Cue much grumbling from them about being handicapped in their quest to win something. Edited by reekie, Mar 6 2011, 11:44 AM.
