When did you transfer your hard-on from Italian football to Barca, Eggy? :piper:

The more I think about it, the more I'm thinking 49-51 in Man U's favour :banshk:

Funny, I was going to ask when you became a Man United fan.

I still support Milan, and it doesn't stop me from appreciating this Barcelona side.

Lay a bet on Betfair at evens and I'll put on £50. How about it :lager:

Well be careful how you swing it around, almost had my unsuspecting eye out there :fisted:

I appreciate this Barca side fo realz, but from a neutral's perspective I think the final will be very closely fought. I have no special allegiance to Man U whatsoever, other than I'd like to see a supposed massive underdog British side win it, especially against a side that people can't stop permawanking over :piper:

By the way, I haven't forgotten the thread from a few years ago where you were utterly adamant that Iniesta and Xavi were nowhere near as good as Steven Gerrard :smack:

As much as I'd like to see Man U win it, I think they will struggle. Won't be far away from winning thought. Not sure they have the midfield to win it.

So you're not exactly a neutral, are you, bucko?

See, I don't mind being contrarian (I'm partial to it myself), but not for the sake of it. Plus if you were in the UK, then perhaps you'd be wanting Barcelona to win as well...

I demand that you retract that libel, otherwise you'll be hearing from my lawyers.

I'm absolutely neutral - I balance an appreciation for Barca's undoubted qualities with wanting the British underdog to win.

And don't make me bust out the Gerrard thread in question, punk!
I can't be arsed finding it

Going on about permawankingthons, and the madness of those 1-4 points in Man United's favour suggests you're not neutral.

Go ahead, make my day (which you couldn't, because it's impossible to find a thread where I'd say that)!

Impossible perhaps because that part of the archive has already been archived, perhaps.

It can be our dirty little secret, Eggy! Posted Image No-one will know except the two of us that not so long ago The Eggman rated Steven Gerrard much higher than both Xavi and Inestia.

You're a disgusting liar. Wash out your mouth with soap. Then bleach. If you then still persist with such vileness, acid (not the good kind) should do the trick.

Indeed Ivan, I remember it well.

Someone :$ was on a rant about how overrated Gerrard was, and this unnamed person was challenged by Rev. Eggman to name better midfielders, go on, name em! The unnamed person's list in reply included Xavi and Iniesta, both of whom were laughed out of court by the Rev.

Now he's got their posters above his Barca-bedsheeted bed :o

It's a dark day in the history of this site, Ivan :piper:

Gary Lie-nay-krr showing off his Barcelona spots: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/football_focus/13527939.stm

Other than this Catalan brain-fart, why does Lineker get so much stick about Match of the Day and such? I think he's great.
