Anybody likely to watch tonight? Should be interesting to see how the in-form Charlie Adam and Scott Brown perform together in midfield, not so convinced about the centre back pairing of Berra and S. Caldwell though... I know there are mixed views about the importance of International football (and especially "friendlies" in half empty neutral stadiums in the middle of February....) but being a child of the 70s/80s I'm a sucker for the Scotland national team, so I'm quite looking forward to tonights match up against the might of Northern Ireland....well Northern Ireland's reserves by the looks of things. |

Steven Caldwell... have we not permanently culled him from our setup yet? ![]() I'm hopeful rather than expectant that Adam will bring something to the team. Hope Conway gets some game time too. If it's the Norn Iron reserves, then I'd be disappointed with anything less than a 2+ goal win. Edited by findus, Feb 9 2011, 03:02 PM.

I take it it's on Sky, then? If so, probably not, although I may listen to the commentary on the radio. I see the mighty Warren Feeney is injured for this, so Scotland may just nick it.

It's on Sky, though the organisers and marketing team seem to be doing their best to hide the tournament from the consciousness of the UK football fan. It doesn't help when England aren't involved of course.
Prepare to be disappointed, it is Scotland after all findus.... |

I'm not at all enthused by the prospect of this game, but it's an excuse to go to the pub, so... |

I can't bare to watch this, my previous engagement was a gig that has now been called off due to Sauchiehall Street going up in flames, so agonisingly this leaves a large gap in my evening which may force the game upon me.... Isn't Eastenders on or something? |

You'd probably be asked to leave the pub if you did. Problem solved! |

Just seen that Scott Brown has been replaced by Wigan's James "not the judas one" McArthur. Not a good start to the evening without a ball even being kicked. |

Au contraire. I would find it very hard to support any team with that petulant little twat in it. |

Good to see the Famous Tartan Army continuing their tradition of booing other countries' national anthems. |

found one! Al Jazeera stream Edit: I'll be bookmarking this one. Quality not the best I've seen, but hasn't dropped once and English commentary (well, by a couple of Jackeens). Edited by Micky, Feb 9 2011, 08:21 PM.

Here's a better link for the game. http://www.everythingon.tv/channel/view/sky-sports-1-1 Good first half from Scotland. Good goal from McCarthur , did he mean that though. Norther Ireland are slighty better than the faeroes. |

3-0. Scotland look very good, although this may be a reflection on how bad Norn Iron are. Still no Conway. |
